West Bromwich Albion's woeful season continues as Burnley sent us to a record eighth successive defeat in the Premier League.

Welcoming Sean Dyche's unexpected European hopefuls to The Hawthorns for the tie today, they took a third straight win following an acrobatic effort from Ashley Barnes, and Chris Wood doubled their advantage late on in the second half.

Salomon Rondon did get on the scoresheet inside of the final ten minutes of the affair but sadly it was another case of too little too late as the club continue to circle the drain in our inevitable return to the Championship.

With the game seeing records tumble:

It was their first win at our ground since 1969 - Sean Dyche wasn't even born then!
They had been winless in the last five top flight matches against us.

The result itself could've been far worse and with six games remaining in 2017/18 and a ten point deficit to safety, well, it's not going to happen is it - we're down and we have been for a long time.
