Officials - West Brom v Manchester United (17/12/17)

The Premier League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between West Bromwich Albion and Manchester United this Sunday.

West Bromwich Albion host Manchester United on Sunday December 17 for the game at The Hawthorns and the match carries a 2.15pm kick off.

Referee: Anthony Taylor
Assistant Refs: Stephen Child and Harry Lennard
Fourth Official: Bobby Madley

Match Day referee Taylor has officiated 15 games in 2017/18, showing 58 yellow cards so far.

He took in 41 games in 2016/17 with a return of 161 yellow cards and five red cards.

That season his highest card count was eight yellows in the game between Leicester City and West Ham. He also showed eight yellow cards in the game between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Stoke City v Chelsea saw seven yellows and one red as well.

He took in 44 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 147 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Watford and Crystal Palace on September 27 with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
