Robson-Kanu Reflects On Manchester City

Goalscorer Hal Robson-Kanu has reflected on West Bromwich Albion's defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday evening.

Making the trip to the Etihad Stadium for the midweek tie, West Brom certainly put the work in but were clearly outclassed on the day in the three one defeat.

Speaking to in his post game press conference, Robson-Kanu felt there were positives to take from the game, especially in terms of the effort and battle the side showed.

'It's always nice to score goals but it's nicer to win games. We set up to try and stop what is undoubtedly world class opposition. But unfortunately they got two quick goals and it was an uphill battle from there. We fought until the end and showed great desire but it just wasn't to be tonight.'

The Welshman went on to say that he felt across the season we had done well even though the last few weeks had been disappointing.

'I think over the course of the season we've done well. We've shown good discipline and put in some great performances for our fans to be proud of. We want to sign off in style against Swansea on Sunday.'
